As your child enters the classroom each day they must wash their hands. Please direct or assist
your child to the sink after they have put away their belongings. The
first few weeks we spend a lot of time at the sink teaching the children to
correctly wash their hands, however we also encourage the parents to not only enforce, but also practice this number 1 illness stopper.

Early Head Start Schedule
8:00am: Arriving to Learn!
8:00-9:00am: Breakfast, Free Art or Free Play
9:00-9:15am: It's Circle Time
9:15-9:30am: Bathroom Visit/ HAND WASHING
9:30-10:30am: Structured Art or Center Play (refer to lesson plan)
10:30-11:00am: Outdoor Play or Gross Motor Activity (based on weather)
11:15-11:30am: Bathroom Visit/ HAND WASHING
11:30- 12:00pm: It's time for Lunch!
12:00-2:00pm: Nap Period
2:00- 2:15pm: Bathroom Visit/ HAND WASHING
2:15-2:30pm: Snack Time (PICK-UP for EHS)
2:30-3:00pm: Outdoor Play or Gross Motor Activity
2:45-3:00pm: Bathroom Visit/ HAND WASHING
3:00-3:30pm: Recap of our day/ Writing activity
3:30-4:30pm: Music and Movement
4:30- 5:30pm: Pick up and Free play
